Miley Cyrus’ New Gift From Beyoncé — and Why She Never Takes It Off

Miley Cyrus isn’t just collecting awards with Beyoncé — she’s holding onto a keepsake from the music icon that she never removes.

During her Vogue France November cover interview, the Something Beautiful artist, 32, reflected on her friendship with Beyoncé, 44, after their electric live duet of II Most Wanted during the Cowboy Carter Tour in Paris. The two, who took home the Grammy earlier this year for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for their hit collaboration, have continued to show mutual admiration both on and off the stage.

Cyrus called Beyoncé “the best, period,” and shared that their friendship came with a deeply personal gift. “She gave me a bracelet that I never take off,” Cyrus revealed in her Vogue France feature. “And trust me, I know how to use it when I need to. If someone tells me I was wrong or did this or that wrong, I say, ‘Well, you know what, it doesn’t matter. Beyoncé gave me this bracelet, look!’”

Beyoncé, who recently opened the first of three sold-out Cowboy Carter Tour shows at Stade de France Stadium near Paris, surprised fans by inviting Cyrus to the stage for a powerhouse performance. The moment marked a highlight in what many fans are calling the “golden era” of female artistry and mutual respect — one where legends like Beyoncé are uplifting the next generation of fearless performers.

The former Hannah Montana star has long praised the Alien Superstar singer, telling SiriusXM’s TikTok Radio this summer that Beyoncé “really is exactly what you’d wanna see on and off the stage.” She continued, explaining that Beyoncé’s presence is seamless between her public persona and her private authenticity. “I think that she deserves to kind of have this queen essence surrounding her constantly, just because it’s so fluid between both of her worlds,” she stated.

Cyrus also opened up to Vogue France about her own creative process, fashion inspirations, and what drives her individuality. “I love people who have no idea who the current designers are, who can’t put a name to their style, but who have a crazy look,” she expressed. “It’s like music; you can feel it, love it, without knowing exactly what it’s about.”

She described her own sense of style as unapologetically original. “While I can appreciate someone’s look, I don’t necessarily have the desire to recreate it on myself. Because I’ve always been who I wanted to be. And I want to be the reference! I want to be the mood board!”

That mindset was perfectly captured in her 2024 Grammys ensemble — a John Galliano creation adorned with 14,000 safety pins. “What he suggested to me when he was at Maison Margiela even inspired songs,” Cyrus noted. “I admit, I’ve sometimes taken a shoe or a cape he made for me and tried to find a bass part or a melody that corresponded to the fabric or material used.”

Photographed by Mario Sorrenti, the Vogue France spread showcases Cyrus in an array of bold designs by Fendi, Valentino, and more, with one standout image of her in a blonde wig reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe and other Golden Age icons.

The Vogue France November 2025 issue hits stands Wednesday, October 22, featuring Cyrus’s full interview and shoot — a visual and emotional journey that celebrates her evolution as an artist, her admiration for Beyoncé, and her signature refusal to conform.

As for that meaningful bracelet? It’s become more than an accessory — it’s a reminder of sisterhood, confidence, and the bond between two women who continue to redefine music and culture on their own terms.
