Casey Cott Shines on Riverdale
Why his character is so prominent on the CW show.
Starring as Kevin Keller on the hit television series on the CW “Riverdale” is Cott’s breakout role of special proportions after a under graduate career in acting.
Casey grew up in the state of Ohio where he later attended Boston University until later deciding on an acting career. With this new fulfilling mindset Casey transferred to Carnegie Mellon School of Drama where he graduated from just last year.
During those years he starred in various plays including Romeo and Juliet and The Prince of Egypt before landing a key role in “Riverdale.”
Cott’s character in the show is a first for Archie Comics, the creators of the series, due to his openly gay orientation. His role in the show makes it even more addicting as the story line draws you in more with each watch. Will you be tuning in?

My name is Kelsey Comeaux, I’m currently a Senior at McNeese State University, majoring in Mass Communications with a concentration in New Media. I’ve always had an interest in creative media arts as well as music (four years private piano lessons) and slightly self taught acoustic guitarist ;) I remember making movies on my dad’s “Windows Movie Maker” growing up and showing them to my friends and family. Building on emotion and presenting an important message through my projects was such a fulfilling experience. I hope to do that on a wider base one day.
Other than that, I love sports and am naturally a competitive spirit. I love to go running for fun, as weird as that sounds; it’s such a great release for me during stressful times. I also enjoy writing, short fiction is my expertise, as well as reading various novels mostly consisting of Science Fiction and Romance. Anything dealing with an adrenaline rush involving the outdoors I’m game for. I’m here to explore, love wildly, feel passionately, and have diligence deriving from the soul.
