Taraji P Henson Stars In New Tyler Perry Movie

Taraji P. Henson stars in a new Tyler Perry movie. 

The film, called “Acrimony,”  stars Henson as a wife who finds out her deceitful husband is cheating on her. This revelation causes her to get upset. Well, that was an understatement; she’s really enraged by his actions. In the first trailer for the film, Henson is seen speaking to a therapist about her husband, whom she believes is cheating on her. “Don’t tell me I don’t have the right to be angry,” she tells the therapist. “You don’t know what he’s done to me.” Throughout the trailer, Henson gives a chilling performance as she portrays a scorned woman. She seems to be the perfect person to play this role.

The first trailer for the film shows how Henson’s character Melinda met her husband. It then goes into present day and the many issues they are having together. This leads to a divorce and Melinda’s ex-husband getting a girlfriend. This angers Melinda and it seems that she seeks revenge. In between scenes, she’s seen talking to a therapist of the events that are or will be taking place.

The movie is a dramatic thriller. Besides Henson, the film also stars Tika Sumpter, Lyriq Bent, Danielle Nicolet, Bresha Webb, Terayle Hill and Kendrick Cross. To get a glimpse of the movie, check out the trailer below.

We can’t wait for the rest of the trailers and the movie to come out!  “Acrimony” will be released on March 30, 2018.
