Look out London, Here comes the ‘My Name Is Prince’ Exhibition Tour

Where can you find all the Prince paraphernalia that you can possibly imagine? In London England, that’s where. It’s happening at the 02 State-of-the-Art Arena beginning in late October for a limited engagement.

Why London? This first Prince Exhibition is in remembrance and honor of Prince’s performances in August and September 2007 in London with 21 record breaking sold out concerts. The Exhibition, which is the first of its kind, displays pieces that have been shipped directly from Prince Rogers Nelson’s Paisley Park home in Minnesota in the United States to London, England and worth millions of dollars.

Included in the exhibition are clothing worn by Prince from videos, television shows, and performances such as his Purple Rain tour from 1984-1985. Prince played many musical instruments such as guitar, bass, piano, and drums. Many of these personal instruments, along with awards/trophies, and hand-written music will also be on display.

Expect to see his guitar from his 2007 Super Bowl half-time performance; and the Gibson L65-S guitar from his performance on the television show American Bandstand; special handmade sunglasses; and one of a kind diamond studded cane from a 2013 magazine photo shoot.  Prince loved spectacular, flashy and flamboyant clothing with all the accessories from head to toe. London fans are the first fans that are in for a remarkable and memorable event that they can treasure for a lifetime.
