What was Jacob doing before his internet fame through Musically?
In a recent Instagram post, young internet heart throb Jacob Sartorius looks back on his past and how far he’s come. With the caption reading:
“grateful. this time last year i was performing in a mall for 250 people. i never stopped working, dreams come true. don’t stop dreaming”
This time last year Jacob was building up his fame initiating from the lip-syncing app “Musical.ly.” But what exactly was Jacob doing before his instant internet stardom?
In his first ever Instagram picture Jacob looks star-eyed and adorable paired with braces and a cute short sleeved stripped shirt.
Being adopted, he always had a knack for performing and it has definitely paid off for him. At the age of eleven, Jacob posted his first video on Vine as he slowly moved to Musical.ly. Because of his internet stardom, he had to move schools three times to cease the bullying, but look who’s laughing now?
My name is Kelsey Comeaux, I’m currently a Senior at McNeese State University, majoring in Mass Communications with a concentration in New Media. I’ve always had an interest in creative media arts as well as music (four years private piano lessons) and slightly self taught acoustic guitarist ;) I remember making movies on my dad’s “Windows Movie Maker” growing up and showing them to my friends and family. Building on emotion and presenting an important message through my projects was such a fulfilling experience. I hope to do that on a wider base one day.
Other than that, I love sports and am naturally a competitive spirit. I love to go running for fun, as weird as that sounds; it’s such a great release for me during stressful times. I also enjoy writing, short fiction is my expertise, as well as reading various novels mostly consisting of Science Fiction and Romance. Anything dealing with an adrenaline rush involving the outdoors I’m game for. I’m here to explore, love wildly, feel passionately, and have diligence deriving from the soul.
