Cycle Twenty-Four of America’s Next Top Model is Here
Do you want to be on top?
America’s Next Top Model originally premiered in May in 2003 and is still going strong thirteen years later with the newest cycle 24. Singer and songwriter Rita Ora temporarily took queen Tyra’s place in cycle 23 as the leading presenter and judge as she crowned India Gants, the newest top model.
The show has been a highlight of pop culture television since it’s original airing and has since then sparked over thirty different variations of the show worldwide.
The franchise has made a killing from a marketing standpoint, selling cosmetic and clothing-line items featuring handbags, jewelry, and makeup sold through a partnership with Walmart.

On Tyra’s return this year, fans are excited to see the same firey fierceness that has been showcased over the past decade. The newest cycle will premiere on VH1 starting in December.

My name is Kelsey Comeaux, I’m currently a Senior at McNeese State University, majoring in Mass Communications with a concentration in New Media. I’ve always had an interest in creative media arts as well as music (four years private piano lessons) and slightly self taught acoustic guitarist ;) I remember making movies on my dad’s “Windows Movie Maker” growing up and showing them to my friends and family. Building on emotion and presenting an important message through my projects was such a fulfilling experience. I hope to do that on a wider base one day.
Other than that, I love sports and am naturally a competitive spirit. I love to go running for fun, as weird as that sounds; it’s such a great release for me during stressful times. I also enjoy writing, short fiction is my expertise, as well as reading various novels mostly consisting of Science Fiction and Romance. Anything dealing with an adrenaline rush involving the outdoors I’m game for. I’m here to explore, love wildly, feel passionately, and have diligence deriving from the soul.
