Jay Z Confirms a Beyoncé Collaboration Album Still Exist
Our favorite couple could possibly be blessing us with a collaborative album soon.
Jay Z and Beyoncé have had a successful year full of accomplishments. Beyoncé has just been named the richest woman in music and Jay Z is headlining his successful 4:44 tour. Having a huge success they have, it is rare that we see them in interviews. Recently, Jay Z participated in a one on one chat with the New York Times to discuss the various topics of therapy, marriage to the current political climate.
During this interview, he commented on the rumor of Beyoncé and his joint album. As we know, instead of a collaborative work, we received two highly praised albums from each. “… we were using our art almost like a therapy session. And we started making music together. And then the music she was making at that time was further along. So her album came out as opposed to the joint album that we were working on.” Jay Z stated.
Despite them not getting the chance to release the joint album, he left us with a quick statement that will surely give us hope. “Um, we still have a lot of that music.” Jay Z stated. Hopefully, they are able to come together again and share their collaborative works with us.
