ABC Confirms ‘Scandal’ + ‘How to Get Away with Murder’ Crossover

ABC announces crossover episodes with two of their biggest shows on the network.

Scandal and How To Get Away with Murder fans are in for exciting news. ABC confirmed that the two shows’ main characters, Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and Annalise Keating (Viola Davis), would soon come face to face.

Both Davis and Washington broke the news on their personal Instagram accounts by showing one another on each other’s sets, while creator Shonda Rhimes gave a sneak peek of the script. This will be the first crossover for any of Rhimes’ shows. The script reveals some of the dialogue between both leading ladies and it sounds like a must-watch.

Scandal is on their seventh season, while How To Get Away with Murder is on its fourth season. Both shows will return to primetime television on January 18th. Further details about the crossover episodes have not yet been announced.
