What to Expect in This Year’s Golden Globes on Sunday
The star-filled award show will return Sunday evening and takes on a new shape for itself.
The exclusive event, which has the hottest celebrities sitting around big round tables, will be rolling out the red carpet soon. In the past, the award show has gotten people very excited to see what looks will make the red carpet, and this year is no exception.
This annual event has been chosen as the location of a very significant demonstration. Actors and actresses have banned together to make their voices heard. Numerous celebrities including names like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Shonda Rimes, and Reese Witherspoon will wear black attire and “Time’s Up” pins to refer to the legal defense organization that steers to end discrimination, harassment, and abuse. Making waves, the organization composed of men and women from television and film will grace the red carpet with a mission in mind.

SNL alum and current late night host Seth Meyers will host this year’s Golden Globes. With categories such as Best Motion Picture, Best Performance, and Best Director, the show is set to feature stars from Lady Bird, The Shape of Water, Dunkirk, and many more. It is set to air Sunday, January 7th at 8ET/5PT on NBC.
