Jo Faces off with Her Abusive Ex in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Teaser
We honestly aren’t sure if we are ready for the mid-season premiere on Thursday Jan. 18.
In this episode, titled “1-800-799-7233” in reference to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, we will meet Jo Wilson’s abusive ex-husband Paul Stadler. We only saw a small peak of him at a national doctor’s convention in season 13. However, the last image we saw of Jo from the latest episode of Grey’s was her shocked expression in response to seeing Paul for the first time in years.
To refresh, Jo left Paul and changed her identity in order to protect herself. However, Paul still found her fake identity and location. Jenny, Paul’s fiancée will also be introduced. As if we needed more anxiety about Jo’s future.
We’re definitely going to be keeping popcorn and tissues at our sides during this episode.
