‘SNL’ Airs ‘Bachelor’ Skit with Host Jessica Chastain

Last weekend, America’s favorite weekend program fired some shots at the beloved Bachelor.

With host Jessica Chastain and musical guest Troye Sivan, Saturday Night Live was back in full force. Starting with a cold open addressing President Trump’s health report and a monologue about the Women’s March, the skit that stole the show was “Car Hunk,” a parody of this season of The Bachelor featuring Arie Luyendyk Jr.

The skit features Arie (Alex Moffat) and a series of meetings with various women. From taxidermy to age jokes, those familiar with the show can spot particular spoofs from this season’s lineup. Like the show’s 21-year-old contestant Bekah, you can spot Melissa Villaseñor sport the short hair, and Cecily Strong poke fun at Tia B’s hometown of Weiner, Arkansas.

However, this is not out of the ordinary. Given the success of the ABC program, SNL began poking fun at The Bachelor in 2015. Previous skits included “Bland Man,” “Farmer Hunk,” and “Beard Hunk.”

You can catch SNL on Saturday nights at 8:30pm PT on NBC.
