Interview: Indiana Massara on Her Latest Single, “Do Yourself a Favour”
Singer, Indiana Massara’s new single, “Do Yourself a Favour,” definitely is a bit of pop mixed with urban and country.
While there isn’t a new album planned yet, it’s certainly on this songstresses’ radar.
GLITTER: How would you describe your sound?
INDIANA: It’s pop with flavours of urban and country at certain times.
GLITTER: What does being an artist mean to you?
INDIANA: It means I’m able to share my thoughts and experiences, good or bad, in a way people can find enjoyment out of. I love what I do and wouldn’t change it for anything.
GLITTER: What can you tell us about your latest single, “Do Yourself a Favour?” Did any event inspire you to write that song?
INDIANA: “Do Yourself A Favour” describes that frustrating time when you REALLY like someone, but you have to watch them date someone else who isn’t right for them. The producers who worked on this track have created magic for Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Fifth Harmony, Carrie Underwood and more, so I was in good hands. We all worked together to bring this song to life and when we were recording it, there was an amazing atmosphere in the room. We could just feel it coming together and it was really exciting! We kept the Australian spelling of “favour” because my Australian fans are very important to me.
GLITTER: Will we see a new album from you soon?
INDIANA: I hope so! Right now, I’m focused on putting out singles and seeing how people react to what I’m doing. I’m definitely planning on it in the near future, though!
