Jesse McCartney Releases New Song
Called “Better With You,” the song is reminiscent of his hit song in 2004, “Beautiful Soul.”
Despite claiming several years ago that he won’t be producing any more music, McCartney surprised fans with a music video for his song “Better With You.”
The singer told Paper that the song is “saying a lot more than maybe some of my past records. Musically, it’s most reminiscent of my earlier songs from ‘Beautiful Soul’ with contemporary production and lyrics. I think it has a nostalgic sound.” The song was also influenced by the turbulent political climate. “The world felt like it was unraveling. I think it was a song that I thought everyone would want to hear and frankly I wanted to hear it. So I wrote it.”
I really want to say “thank you” for all the #BetterWithYou love. I’ll be following a few people who use the hashtag today! Here’s a link to help you tweet about the song: https://t.co/uMSMlMp5Bq pic.twitter.com/SLq7wdmsUb
