Kygo Pays Beautiful Tribute to His Music Idol

DJ Kygo paid tribute to Aviici, his musical inspiration during his weekend 2 Coachella set, and it had the crowd in their feels.

The music world, specifically the EDM family was left heartbroken on Friday, April 27th when they heard news that Tim Bergling, famously known as Aviici, had passed away. Aviici was known for his major contribution to Electronic music and was a pioneer for what EDM music is today.

Before ending his set during weekend 2, he told fans that Aviici was his “biggest musical inspiration” and gave credit to Aviici for why he was on stage in the first place. He also referred to him as a “musical genius.” He had fans dance and celebrate the life of his idol during his favorite song by the DJ, “Without You,” followed by a moment of silence.

Kygo also expressed his sadness on his Instagram.
