Emma Watson and Chord Overstreet Have Split
After four months of dating, the Harry Potter alum and the Glee actor have officially called it quits.
Their couple status was first confirmed back in March when they were spotted leaving the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty together and were then photographed days later holding hands in Los Angeles. Only after these outings was it revealed that the pair had already been together for about two months.
Watson has always expressed that she prefers not to publicize her relationships, so it’s no surprise that the two parted the way they began; quietly. Back when she was dating her ex William “Mack” Knight before their split in September of 2017, she explained to Vanity Fair, “I want to be consistent: I can’t talk about my boyfriend in an interview and then expect people not to take paparazzi pictures of me walking around outside my home. You can’t have it both ways.”
We do know that Overstreet is still following Watson on Instagram, suggesting that they ended things on good terms, but the Beauty and the Beast actress is not following him back. Never fear, for Watson only follows 21 other users, and reportedly never followed her former partner to begin with. Regardless, we wish them each the best in their future romantic endeavors.
