Remembering the Victims of the Orlando Nightclub Shooting
It has been two years since the Orlando nightclub shooting on June 12, 2016, and the LGBTQ+ community, friends, and family remember the lives that were lost in this terrible attack.
The night of the shooting, forty-nine people were killed and fifty-three people were wounded in what was called a terrorist attack inside the Orlando, Florida nightclub, Pulse. Pulse was and still known to be one of the popular gay nightclubs in the Orlando area. This shooting was said to be the second-deadliest mass shootings in the United States history before the shooting in Las Vegas last year.
