Hayley Kiyoko and Brendon Urie Perform ‘Girls/Girls/Boys’
Panic! at the Disco’s Brendon Urie brought out Hayley Kiyoko to perform “Girls/Girls/Boys” at a Toronto show.
The invitation comes after Kiyoko, unfortunately, had to cancel her performance as the opener for Panic! at the Disco’s Pray for the Wicked tour. In an Instagram post by Kiyoko, she explained: “we weren’t able to perform due to border/production delays etc.”
While it is sad that Kiyoko wasn’t able to perform with her band at the show, it gave her the opportunity to perform the Panic! at the Disco song with Urie and it made things better for just about everyone.
In the same Instagram post, Kiyoko says,”I cannot tell you how incredible this man is. Not only is his voice a gift but his KINDNESS and ability to make people feel warm and special is just beyond. Thank you Brendon for giving me something to aspire to and be. And supporting me as if we are family. I’ll never forget last night.”
Kiyoko will open for Panic! at the Disco for many more dates in the U.S., so hopefully things go a little more smoothly in future shows.
