Perrie Edwards Shows Self Love on Instagram

Confidence is beautiful.

Perrie Edwards is a powerful vocalist of the popular British girl group Little Mix. At 25-years-old, she’s living life fearlessly and confidently. Her relationship with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain of Liverpool FC and England International is nothing short of adorable.

She recently opened up about an insecurity of hers, addressing it via Instagram and Twitter. She wrote, “Growing up I was always insecure about the freckles on my face. Over the last couple of years, I’ve started to embrace them and don’t feel I need to hide them anymore.” She finishes off her post with an inspiring quote: “Embrace your individuality. Love what you love without worrying about judgment.”

The post gained positive attention from fans, called mixers, of her and Little Mix. Her selfie reached over a million likes in under twelve hours, meaning the positive message she wrote along with it got to just as many people.

Fans tweeted out to the Little Mix group Twitter thanking Perrie for giving them confidence.
