VMA Artist & Video of the Year: Camila Cabello
Congratulations went to Camila Cabello, as she took home VMA artist of the year and Video of the year.
She was up against nominees like The Carters, Childish Gambino, Drake, Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, Cardi B and Post Malone, so this was a huge honor for this young new artist and the start to a phenomenal career.

This was the first time Camila appeared as a solo artist at the awards show, after splitting from the girl group Fifth Harmony.

Camila was nominated for five VMA awards including Best Pop, Best Choreography, and Song of the Year.
