Gaga has never been one to act small on any project she’s tackled. “A Star is Born” is no different.

Premiering at the Venice Film Festival, Gaga and co-star, and director, Bradley Cooper, sat along side a crowd for the first public screening of the movie. With a few glitches and a little extra time, audience members and critics alike took a strong liking to the film giving it an eight-minute standing ovation.

Following the festival, Twitter was raving from those in attendance and fans exclaiming the excitement for the movie’s official release.

#AStarIsBorn was seen trending on Twitter hours later sharing moments from red carpet and comments on the film. Comments were flying at the star for her ways of keeping the original movies in mind while also adapting to modern day trends.

A Star is Born is set to release October 5, 2018, and it sounds like a movie we won’t want to miss.
