We are surviving but barely thriving.

Fans across the world took the day to remember the band’s last performance on The X Factor UK and prove they are hanging on to hope the band will come back again soon.

While some joked at the timeline of days without 1D, Liam jumped in posting a photo on Instagram with the simple caption “1000 days” and fans went wild. Questions poured out if it was just a post letting them know the guys were following too, or if it was hinting at something more.
Either way, trends on Twitter, such as #1000DaysWithout1D, set out to let the world know fans are not letting go of the band that easily.
There is no way I’m leaving this fandom or joining another one.

Was Liam’s post hinting at a soon to be reunion tour or are we all going to have to survive another 1,000? According to social media across the board, it doesn’t look like the hope is dying any time soon, so, we will continue watching old videos together until the day comes.
Here’s to you, One Direction.
