Maisie Williams Joins the Cast of Rooster Teeth’s ‘gen:Lock’
Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams will be lending her voice for Rooster Teeth’s upcoming science fiction, anime series gen:Lock.
gen:Lock is set in a dystopian future and tells the story of a team of pilots utilizing mechanical, robot suits to fight a global scale war. Williams will be voicing Cammie MacCloud, a mischievous Scottish hacker.

A third teaser trailer for gen:Lock was recently released online and revealed both Williams’ character, Cammie MacCloud, and a second new character, Kazu Iida, a member of the Japanese military, to be voiced by Japanese actor Kōichi Yamadera (Ghost in the Shell, Ninja Scroll, Cowboy Beebop).
Rooster Teeth had previously announced that a few well-known actors will be joining the cast as well – Michael B. Jordan (Creed, Black Panther, Fahrenheit 451), Dakota Fanning (Coraline, War of the Worlds, I Am Sam), and David Tennant (Doctor Who, DuckTales, Broadchurch).
gen:Lock will be available to watch through iOS, Android, Apple TV, Xbox One and directly through the Rooster Teeth website for a paid subscription of $4.99 per month.
gen:Lock is scheduled to be released early next year in January 2019.
