Emilia Clarke + Henry Golding to Star in Romance Film ‘Last Christmas’
Both the Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke and Crazy Rich Asians star Henry Golding will play opposite each other as romantic interests.
The Hollywood Reporter was the first to break the story about the upcoming holiday romantic comedy film. Not much of a plot for the film was revealed yet except for the fact that the film will take place during the holidays in London.

The film will be distributed by Universal Studios and will be directed by Paul Feig, who had also directed his most recently released film A Simple Favor which stars Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively. The screenplay will be co-written by both Emma Thompson and Bryony Kimmings.

Clarke is most well-known for her portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen in HBO’s Game of Thrones. The popular television series, based on George R. R. Martin fantasy book series A Song of Ice and Fire, is scheduled to conclude with its eighth and final season in 2019.
Golding very recently achieved fame this year for his portrayal of Nick Young in the screen adaptation of Crazy Rich Asians, which has grossed over $200 million worldwide in revenue. Golding previously worked under Feig’s direction for A Simple Favor and played Sean Townsend in the film.
