‘A Very Wicked Halloween’ Celebrates 15 Years on Broadway
Broadway cannot be discussed without bringing up Wicked. Since it’s initial release in 2003, the musical has told the story of Glinda, The Good Witch, and Elphaba, The Wicked Witch of the West, and how they spent their earlier lives being best friends.
This year, NBC put on a spooky television special to celebrate Wicked’s 15th anniversary. “A Very Wicked Halloween” featured celebrities like Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth perform some of our favorite songs such as “Popular” and “Defying Gravity.”
Ariana Grande, Adam Lambert, Ledisi and Pentatonix also made an appearance.

Fans were raving on Twitter about how much the show means to them and how special it was to see past cast members, as well as some of their favorite performers, join the special.
Wicked taught us to always look for the other side of the story, to be fair and loyal, and to stand up for what’s right. All with an incredible soundtrack. Here’s to 15 more! #Wicked15 pic.twitter.com/qzgS9ENxek
