Donald Glover Teases Fans with Sneak Peek of ‘Guava Island’ Trailer

Donald Glover gave a first look at the Guava Island trailer at the PHAROS festival in New Zealand.

Although the tease of a trailer is through social media, it gave us an idea of what the top secret film project might be about. The film will feature stars like Donald Glover, Rihanna, Letitia Wright and Nonso Anozie. It will be directed by Hiro Murai, who helped create the ‘”This Is America” music video. During the summer, Rihanna and Glover were reported to be in Cuba on set for the project.

Throughout the trailer, Glover is seen playing his guitar as love interest, Rihanna, watches him play. He later runs throughout the streets of the city and looks as though he gets abducted. The first look at the trailer was aired at the Pharos festival at the Tapapakanga Regional Park located in Auckland, New Zealand.
