Marsai Martin is making big moves these days. The actress came up with the idea for the upcoming film called Little herself. That is truly Black girl magic. Take a sneak peek at the trailer below.
Marsai revealed on Twitter to a rumor about firing her agent after they told her to “chill.” The actress clarified that she did not let her agent go because of that reason, but they did not support her when she wanted to create her own projects. Marsai goes on to explain that there were not enough roles available for her so she created her own.
Thx 4 sharing, but I didn’t fire my agent because I didn’t want to chill…it was because they didn’t support me when I wanted to create my own projects when there was no available roles. They wanted me to chill and wait for the roles to come, instead of create them 🤷🏽♀️

Little is about Regina Hall’s character reliving her free days when adult responsibilities were nonexistent. Marsai plays the younger version of Regina Hall’s character. The hilarious Issa Rae also stars in the movie and we cannot wait to see the iconic duo on our screens.
Little is set to release on April 12, 2019.
