Tamar Braxton Becomes The First African American To Win ‘Celebrity Big Brother’

The ‘If You Don’t Wanna Love Me’ singer made black history at the same time of winning ‘Celebrity Big Brother.’

On Wednesday, Tamar Braxton became the first African American housemate to win CBS‘ Celebrity Big Brother.

The singer/reality star made it to the final stages and competed against Kandi Burruss, Dina Lohan, Lolo Jones, and Ricky Williams for the grand prize of $250,000.

Not only did Tamar make history, but she broke the “First to Enter” curse. If you are not a Celebrity Big Brother fan, then you should know that the curse is that the first person to enter the Big Brother house never wins.

Tamar took to Instagram to celebrate her win, the singer shared a short clip of the tremendous moment.

‘And now I get to buy my baby a house. Thank you all!” Tamar expressed in her captions.
