Watch Vampire Weekend’s New Music Video

Vampire Weekend’s newest video features snakes, Jonah Hill, and Breakfast.
Vampire Weekend is a four-man alternative rock group from NYC. They have been making music since 2006, and their style is so unique that fans just can’t get enough. They have three albums currently available, and are working on a fourth, which will host their newest single “Harmony Hall.” Their first three albums, Vampire Weekend, Contra, and, Modern Vampires of the City, all premiered on the top music charts both in the USA and UK. They have been front-runners from the start and their music keeps getting better.
Their next album, to be released this year, will be called Father of the Bride. So far the band has released information on four of the songs, “Sunflower,” “2021,” “Flower Moon,” and, most recently, “Harmony Hall.” The songs all fit right in with the band’s style. On February 20th, they released a music video for the song “Harmony Hall” and it was incredible. The video was a mixture of stunning visuals and beautiful music, mostly hovering around lead singer, Ezra Koenig, cooking breakfast. There were also several shots of the band jumping around and having a good time with other actors, the group playing music surrounded by candles, and, notably, a snake exploring the kitchen counter where Keonig was preparing food. It was very surreal but matched the chill tone of the song exceedingly well. Jonah Hill even made an appearance at the end to try some of the pancakes that took center stage.

The video was fun and quirky, overall, it was really enjoyable to watch, and, if you can spare five minutes, you totally should. Also, where do you get one of those amazing spirograph pancake makers?
