The newest detective film starring our favorite little yellow pocket monster is sure to be awesome!
We all can’t wait for May 10th to see the first live-action Pokemon movie, Detective Pikachu. The trailers look simultaneously action-packed and adorable with no shortage of clever comedy. But, what else could we expect when the main character is being voiced by Ryan Reynolds?
Alongside Reynolds, we know that the movie will also star Bill Nighy, Kathryn Newton, Justice Smith, and many more. With that lineup the film is sure to be fabulous, and no matter what it is sure to be hilarious.

The newest trailer revealed a bot more about the plot. It will involve a mystery that Pikachu and his newly found friend Tim will need to solve while Pikachu works to figure out where he came from. There was some amazing pyrotechnics alongside Pokemon battles, and it just looks incredibly fun. This is exactly what we expect from the franchise at this point.
