Ariana Grande + 2Chainz Collaborate for the Second Time
Are these two becoming the biggest duo of this year?
The two began their new friendship over social media. Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings” song and music video were constantly compared to 2Chainz’ song “Spend It” and his iconic pink trap house scene that was used to promote his album “Pretty Girls Like Trap Music”. The pink trap house was used as the cover art for his album. Ariana then reached out to 2Chainz to collaborate on the “7 Rings Remix” and have since decided to collaborate on yet another hot track.
This time Ariana is featured on 2Chainz’ song “Rule The World” from his newest album “Rap Or Go To The League” which is executive produced by Lebron James. Sidenote: What CAN’T Lebron do?!
“Rule The World” is such a feel good song. It samples summertime classic, “Why Don’t We Fall In Love” by Amerie.
The duo released a music video for the song and its very visually pleasing. The video is set in an old school, Hollywood jazz club but the vibes are very eccentric glamour. 2Chainz is seen in an all-white suit and later in a very elaborate fur outfit. Ariana is seen in a white, feather jacket and her signature high ponytail as she performs alongside 2Chainz.

I hope to see more of this duo in the future. They really compliment each other’s sound and bring together two very different fanbases… there is no better way to promote unity than to combine trap and pop on a regular basis.
