Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson New Documentary About Mental Health Will Be a Must-Watch
Jesy is bringing light to issues that need to be talked about through her new documentary.
Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson is best known for her powerful vocals and gorgeous style. However, she has also struggled with issues that are very prominent today, particularly mental health. She has just announced that she is joining the BBC to release a documentary about mental health in which she will be sharing her personal story regarding social media, trolling, and body shaming.
We love that Jesy is using her platform to touch on these crucial topics and share something that is very personal to herself. She has often been trolled and body shamed for being one of the curvier women of Little Mix but she has not let that stop her. This is also a personal reminder that we never truly know what someone is going through and that we should always be kind to others. We are glad that Jesy is willing to be open about what she has been going through and that she wants to show us the true costs of not highlighting the importance of mental health, especially in the age of social media, in which people can leave nasty comments or unintentionally make us feel terrible as we compare ourselves to them.
Jesy has yet to release more details but we are just glad that this documentary is happening. We cannot wait to watch it and learn more about her story.
