Idris Elba In Netflix’s “Turn Up Charlie” Is a Literal Mood

Watching Idris Elba navigate through life is one of the most relatable watches of the year.

He stars in the new Netflix series “Turn Up Charlie” playing the lead character Charlie. The series premiered on March 15th. Charlie is a one hit wonder DJ that is struggling to find his way back into the music industry. He’s working a series of odd jobs, his oddest being a nanny, and playing weird gigs at weddings.

Charlie is trying to get back on top and prove to himself and the many, many people that doubt him, that he can make a comeback (all while trying to make his parents proud). Charlie is basically the most relatable character to almost half of the world.

We all know Idris Elba is not shy when it comes to making music. He’s currently featured on the “Boasty” Remix with Stefflon Don and Sean Paul.
