Ms. Shangela Edwards, from the House of Edwards, performed a mixtape of Beyonce at the 30th Annual GLAAD Media Awards and got a standing ovation from the Bee Queen herself. After multiple bookings from her well-seasoned appearances on RuPaul Drag Race and RuPaul Drag Race All Stars, Shangela has made quite the name for herself. She’s worked her way as one of the top Drag Queen performers and has been booked non-stop since. As she’s constantly challenging herself, the Queen decided to perform a collection of hit songs “Partition,” “Run the World,” and “Single Ladies,” plus Destiny Child tracks likes “Independent Women” and “Bootylicious.” Throughout the performances, other’s caught glimpse of Beyonce enjoying Shangela performance and cheering her on.

Following her performance was a standing ovation from the crowd, including Beyonce herself.
