The New ‘Good Trouble’ Episode Will Be Full of Suspense
The episode is sure to be a rollercoaster of emotions.
Good Trouble has been one of our favorite shows since its first episode was released. It has continued to tackle issues that are completely relevant and relatable, from institutional racism to being a woman in a male-dominated industry. Its next episode will be no different. The episode, titled “Vitamin C”, will be focused on Jamal’s trial and the Black Lives Matter protest that Malika organized. The episode will also feature Black Lives Matter movement co-founder, Patrisse Cullors and we could not be more excited to hear her speak about the issue.
The protest and trial, however, put Callie in a tough spot as she has to figure out what to do with the information she received in the last episode from Jamie’s investigator. The information could help Jamal but it could also be seen as a conflict of interest and put her job at risk.
Not only is Callie dealing with making a tough decision but Mariana and Alice also have decisions of their own. Mariana receives intel regarding the Spekulate salaries and needs to decide whether to release the spreadsheet or not. On the one hand, she could get the salary pay gap to be closed and everyone to be treated equally but on the other hand, she could lose her job and even be sued by the company. Meanwhile, as Sumi’s wedding day approaches, Alice needs to confront her emotions. She needs to decide whether her feelings for Sumi are still as strong as Sumi believes hers still are for Alice.
This episode will definitely be a decisive one for all of the characters in the series. There were many cliffhangers in the last episode that left us with so many questions and we hope that this upcoming episode will be able to answer them.
The episode airs Tuesday, April 2nd, on Freeform at 8 p.m. or you can catch it on Hulu the next day.
