The song titled “Let’s Shut Up And Dance” was released earlier this year as a dedication to the late Michael Jackson, an inspiration to many artists today. The song features KPop groups NCT 127 and LAY. These groups can be seen killing choreography to their mega hits, something Jason is not a stranger to. This collaboration was the PERFECT fit! The song has a bit of a samba, carib flare that Jason Derulo is known for.
Jason recently released the music video for “Let’s Shut Up And Dance” and it was everything we needed and more! Jason, NCT 127, and LAY gave us so many fiery elements, I think anyone was prepared. They brought the style, the fashion, the sass, and of course the killer choreography that all of the groups are known for.
The video features dancers from all kinds of style backgrounds (salsa, dancehall, hip hop, afrobeat), showing that all cultures can come together to just have a good time. They even pay tribute to Michael Jackson by performing some of his famous dance moves. Jason even sports an outfit reminiscent of MJ’s “Smooth Criminal” visual.
