Check Out the New ‘Detective Pikachu’ Trailer
The latest trailer for Detective Pikachu took on a much more sentimental tone and explored the natural habitats of some fan-favorite Pokemon.
Set to the song “What a Wonderful World,” the newest Detective Pikachu trailer explores the beautiful world outside the cityscape of the first trailers. We take a look at the rolling forests and pods of the wilderness and see Pokemon frolicking in their natural homes. It is a beautiful sight, and extremely well animated.

This new trailer also provides the backdrop of a much more sentimental conversation for Pikachu and his partner, Tim. We see a much more emotional side to the film in Tim dealing with the disappearance of his father. There is much more powerful emotion here than we’ve seen before.

This movie is sure to have much more depth and multi-layered storytelling than we’d thought before. It is going to fun, adorable and heart-warming. Make sure you get your tickets to Detective Pikachu for when it hits theatres on May 10th.
