Yara Shahidi looked gorgeous at the premiere of her upcoming movie, The Sun Is Also a Star, at the Pacific Theatres at The Grove, Los Angeles.

The actress, activist, and Harvard college student donned a black sequined high-low dress and cherry red stilettos with blue jeans—a perfect combination of elegant and casual.

The Sun Is Also a Star is a movie adaptation of a Young Adult bestselling novel by Nicola Yoon.
