D/LUCA Puts an Updated Spin on Cashmere Scarves
D/LUCA uses high-grade cashmere to craft their luxurious scarves.
They aim to provide customers with unexpected pairings and elements in their designs, trying to push the envelope with surprise color combos and a contrast of contemporary and traditional to show duality. This makes for intriguing scarves filled with opposition and tension that draws the eye closer.
Susan Lucas created this collection of scarves to play with new technologies available to her to create unusual designs and explore the fresh possibilities. Digital printing onto quality cashmere allows for imagery widely varied in color, creating crisp and striking prints thanks to digital printing providing a higher level of control. The company uses one of the best types of cashmere called White Chinese from Mongolia. Its fine threads make for a super soft, silky, and wispy feel against your skin.

My mother delivered me in Wiesbaden, Germany. I have an African-American father and German mother. I lived there until I reached around age 8 and we moved to Saint Louis, MO. I now attend Truman State University in Kirksville, MO aiming to complete an English major with a Film Studies minor since I enjoy thinking of creative concepts and analyzing film.
