Be Sure to Catch HBO’s “Big Little Lies” Season 2
You won’t want to miss the premiere of Season 2 of Big Little Lies.
The show features a number of new additions to the cast, including Meryl Streep as Perry Wright’s mother, who goes to Monterey to find out what really happened to her son. Of course the Monterey five, Kidman, Kravitz, Woodley, Dern, and Witherspoon, all return to reprise and deepen their roles.
Season two was directed by a woman named Andrea Arnold, whose repertoire includes films such as American Honey and Fish Tank, both of which received positive critical praise. Her ethereal and beautiful cinematography should prove a pleasing addition to the production.
Season one left off with many revelations and reveals that seemed too exciting not to let the characters delve deeper into for a second season, and the quality cast, intricate storylines, and secrecy promise to deliver an intriguing and scandalous season two to heighten the praise and reputation that season one generated.
