$2.4 million ‘Jeopardy’ Winner James Holzhauer Donates Part of His Winnings to Charity

Winning a game show was a dream come true for Jeopardy! champion James Holzhauer. Jeopardy is an American TV show that has been off and on the air since 1964. Contestants compete in a battle of trivia and knowledge to win but with an unusual twist—the answers are given first so the contestants have to win by giving the question to that answer.
According to CNN, James Holzhauer, a 35-year-old professional gambler, won over $2 million in 31 games, which makes him the second Jeopardy contestant to be in the $2 million club. The only other contestant to earn the achievement was Ken Jennings, who won $2,520,700 in 74 games.
Now the professional gambler is giving back. He has chosen to donate $10,000 to a state branch of a national organization—Communities in Schools of Nevada. The organization is committed to keeping the dropout rates of school low and they have a high success rate in doing so.
The organization got on Facebook to thank Holzhauer, saying how grateful they were for the support. It seems there were two winners of Jeopardy this time.
