Lil Nas X Made His Debut Performance at the CMA Fest
“Old Town Road” rapper Lil Nas X performed at the CMA Fest alongside Billy Ray Cyrus and Keith Urban.
Lil Nas X exploded to fame after his famous beef with Billboard. The music executives at Billboard did not deem Lil Nas X’s music country enough for their country charts. Fast forward to now after a little help from country legend Billy Ray Cyrus, Lil Nas X has stayed at the top of many Billboard charts for weeks and has performed on the Nissan Stadium stage in Nashville for the 2019 Country Music Award Fest.
According to news outlets, fans were chanting “Old Town Road” for an hour before Lil Nas X took the stage. He had on a dazzling orange denim suit and white cowboy head. Keith Urban was playing the banjo and Billy Ray Cyrus was playing the guitar. Although the rapper’s hit song may be the only song anyone knows, it seems no one has tired of the song as fans went wild for the country trap song.
