Check Out Rising Singer Cleo Sol
Her soothing voice accompanied by smooth melodies and jazz instrumentals reminisces spacy, instrument accented R&B with slight orchestral sounds coming through adding a feeling of 50s grandeur and glamour.
Cleo Sol grew up in a musical household with a half Serbian/Spanish mother and a Jamaican father who met in a jazz band. From London, following the rising popularity of British singer in the U.S., Cleo Sol had genre influences from both her parents including Reggae, Motown, Latin, and Jazz. Her newer inspirations include the Spice Girls, Ed Sheeran, and Frank Ocean. She began songwriting at the age of 16 and performing at showcases. After posting a few tracks on Myspace during her late teens, a producer named Davinche found her and the partnership led to many collaborations and features with artists including Tinie Tempah and Davinche himself. In 2011 British music influencers named her “one to watch in 2011”. In 2017 she released an EP called Winter Songs and now has several singles out.

My mother delivered me in Wiesbaden, Germany. I have an African-American father and German mother. I lived there until I reached around age 8 and we moved to Saint Louis, MO. I now attend Truman State University in Kirksville, MO aiming to complete an English major with a Film Studies minor since I enjoy thinking of creative concepts and analyzing film.
