With an earning of $185 million between June 2018 and June 2019, Taylor Swift reaches number one on Forbes’ highest paid female musicians list.

Swift made over $266 million from her “Reputation” tour which happens to be the highest earning from any tour, ever. Most of her tour dates were sold out just moments after tickets were released. This astounding turnout as well as high album purchases has landed Taylor Swift this top position on the list.

The word has gone out that Swift is the wealthiest self-made female musician:

Following up behind Swift comes Beyonce and her Beyhive, with an income of $88 million. Queen Bey has nothing to worry about as her husband, Jay Z, recently became the fifth black billionaire in the United States. Though fans have gone berserk over Rihanna’s break from music, she follows up as number three on the Forbes list as well.

On her first tour, “Fearless”, Swift made roughly $75 million. This was just over nine years ago. One could only imagine how ecstatic Swift was when seeing such a large increase in profit from tour sales.
