S By Serena Williams Takes NYFW
Serena Williams joins New York Fashion Week, this time with her own collection.
Williams created this line as a form of creating clothing for women to express their creativity and individuality through fashion. One of her main goals is to express her love for fashion and vision by building a global community of dynamic women. #BeSeenBeHeard is used to spread awareness of her collection and what it stands for.
Following the runway show, the pieces from the collection were sold on a “see now, buy now” basis. Within the 48 hours after the show, the entire collection was available for all to shop online. This drop is only for a limited time. Anyone who misses this time frame would have to wait for the collection to officially drop on her website this coming fall.
Here are a few of the 90’s inspired pieces debuted:
It was great seeing how many diverse models Serena featured and how she has created clothing meant for all sizes, rather than limiting her customer base.
Clothing items from tops, bottoms, outerwear, and jumpsuits have been made. Various patterns and color options will also be available. With prices ranging from $59-$299, and all sizes including 1x-3x, Serena gives an endless option of selection to her customers.
Serena quotes this collection as “a celebration for those who break limits, boundaries, and tradition”. To check out more of the fabulous collection, you can visit Serena’s website.
