Kodi Lee Wins America’s Got Talent
This past Tuesday, the season fourteen finale of America’s Got Talent ended with the victory of the pianist and singer Kodi Lee.The Lake Elsinore, California native is nothing short of exceptional. When Kodi Lee originally auditioned, he was accompanied by his mother, Tina Lee, who explained that “music saved his life”. Lee performed, “A Song For You”, by Donny Halthaway, that brought tears to the judges eyes. At that moment he won over the audience, America, and the heart of Gabrielle Union who gave him a golden buzzer. This automatically propelled him on to the Hollywood rounds of the competition.
Kodi Lee is blind and autistic, but has never let his special needs hinder him and his success. Through his journey he has reigned triumphant against nine other finalists.During the live show, Kodi received the most viewer votes. In this achievement he has earned a one million dollar prize and will also be headlining “America’s Got Talent Live” in Paris, France in November.
