Check out the New Specials Netflix Will Release for the Holiday Season
Netflix announced Tuesday that it will be releasing new specials for the holiday season.
“It’s too early for Holiday festivities”, said no one, ever (except, maybe Scrooge). With Halloween right around the corner, you can’t blame us for getting into the cheery spirit. Netflix joined in on the cheer and will be releasing nearly 30 new movies and shows for the holiday season, beginning Nov. 1.
In a video released on YouTube titled, ‘It’s Beginning to Look a lot like Netflix’, Netflix proclaims that “(It) is your home for the holidays. Whether you want a joyous family comedy, a magically festive romance, or a delicious sugar fix, we have just what you need to enjoy the most wonderful time of the year.”

On Nov. 1, the first title released will be ‘Holiday in the Wild’, followed by ‘Let it Snow’ (11/8), ‘Klaus’ (11/15), ‘The Knight Before Christmas’ (11/21), ‘Nailed It! Holiday Season 2’ (11/22), ‘Merry Happy Whatever’ (11/28), ‘Holiday Rush’ (11/28), ‘Sugar Rush Christmas’ (11/29) and ‘A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby’ (12/5).
Notable of the films is ‘The Knight Before Christmas,’ starring Vanessa Hudgens and Josh Whitehouse. Get the first look and check out what it’s about below.

For now, with Halloween, only a short time away, enjoy your reruns of ‘Halloweentown’ and ‘Hocus Pocus’. But, don’t worry, it’s okay to secretly countdown the days until it is socially acceptable to say, “‘Tis the season,” we sure are.
