Issa Rae Set to Produce New HBO Comedy Series
Issa Rae continues to carve out her space in the crowded entertainment industry, and now she will executively produce a new HBO series titled Rap Sh*t.
The new HBO Max show will follow a fictional south Florida female rap group attempting to make a career in the music industry. Rae, along with directors Montreal McKay, Jonathan Berry and Dave Becky, will executive produce the show. Rap Sh*t is set to debut in May 2020 on the on-demand video subscription service.

Rae has expanded her black girl magic even further with her newest film titled The Photograph starring herself and LaKeith Stanfield. The story comes as a sweeping love story about forgiveness and finding the courage to seek the truth. With the film is set to debut on Valentine’s day, everyone is raving at the love these two amazing artists can display on the screen.

Rae recently became the newest voice for Google Assistant. She tweeted, “I’m the new voice of the Google Assistant! Uh, What?” in her announcement. Being the spectacular woman she is, we aren’t seeing anything stopping Rae anytime soon.
