Anderson .Paak Has Released a New Collaboration with The Game
The rapper and record producer has released a new collaboration with fellow rapper and California native, The Game, after a jam-packed year.
The collaboration’s release comes after Paak’s fourth album, Ventura, was released earlier this year. Paak’s band, the Free Nationals, completed their summer tour, The Best Teef In the Game Tour, and recently released a new single with Chronixx.
The song, Stainless, is the second single from The Game’s upcoming album, Born 2 Rap, and is reminiscent of the dangerous atmosphere of Los Angeles that’s hidden behind the city’s beautiful appearance.
In the song, The Game’s aggressive lyrics mirror some of the struggles in the city, while Paak’s emotional chorus mirrors the outward appearance of the town. The Game also references other iconic rappers and record producers that hail from LA, including Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, and Suge Knight in the song.
The single is the fourth collaboration that Paak and The Game have done together. Paak is featured on two songs from The Game’s 2014 album, The Documentary 2.5, and The Game is featured on Paak’s single, “Room in Here,” with Sonyae Elise.
Aside from his recent album, musical collaborations and tour, Paak is working with his charity, Paak House, to uplift the underprivileged through music, education, and spiritual wellness to reach their highest potential. You can listen to his latest album and collaboration with The Game on Apple Music or Spotify.
