Taylor Swift Opens up About Her Lack of Creative Constraints in Making ‘Lover’

Taylor Swift speaks volumes on how she has become an advocate for new artists and the fantastic opportunity it has brought. 

For the last 13 years, Swift has been taking over the charts with record-breaking songs and albums. She has established control over her creative pathway in her career and creating a secure place in music for not only herself but other artists as well.

Swift speaks on how starting from the bottom, builds you in the industry. “People who are on their fifth, sixth, or seventh album, we’re the only ones who can speak out, because new artists and producers and writers need to work,” said Swift; meaning that new artists need to be endearing to their fans and the industry, building themselves from the ground up.

She states how new song-writers and producers are paving the way for how music is today In the interview with CBS on Sunday Morning, Swift speaks on how she decided to start owning what she makes and telling the truth exemplified in her latest album Lover, which covered issues we face today in society. She didn’t let any constraints hold her back in the making of masterpiece.
