Coldplay Releases Two Hit Songs From Their Forthcoming Album ‘Everyday Life’

‘Everyday People’

“Daddy” and “Champion of the World” are two songs that can be seen on the featured album, Everyday Life by Coldplay coming out this Friday.

After a ton of wishful thinking from fans waiting for a new album to release, the time has finally come. Fans have figured out that Coldplay tends to release an album every three years or so, and their last album was released in 2015. It only makes sense for their release to be coming up.

The song “Daddy” is created around an animated video, created by Aardman Animations. The video, which is directed by Asa Lucander, characterizes a rendition of a girl’s memory regarding her father. Puppetry, beautiful colorful 2D dimension animations, and computerized sets will display throughout the music video. The director, Lucander, spoke highly of the animated music video. “I knew when I had the opportunity to pitch on this project that it was going to be a very special one,” he said. “A few minutes into listening to the track “Daddy” – it spoke to me in a way that stories and visual images began to dance in front of me.”

“Champion of the World” is a piece inspired by Scott Hutchinson and the writers of Owl John’s “Los Angeles Be Kind.” Coldplay singer, Chris Martin, has been a fan of the Owl John’s song. He said, “When I first heard it, I thought it was going to go one way; but it went another. Anyway “Champion Of The World” is the song that came from following the other path, and that’s why Scott is a co-writer on this song.”

The purpose of “Champion of the World” comes from the thought of thinking you know how a song will end but changing in the end for the better.

The live stream will take place in Amman, Jordan, and will mirror the two halves of the 52-minute double album. You can find the stream set for a live date featured above.
